INTEGRATED PROJECT MANAGER - NYC CREATIVE AGENCY - digital, print, TV, radio

This is an amazing entree into a super hot creative agency as PM for an super cool brand. This Project Manager will be responsible for timely advertising workflow through the agency from initial concept phase through release of materials for launch. The Project Manager oversees all projects that occur on their assigned pieces of business (digital, TV, all print mediums, radio). 70-80k+. 3-8 years experience in creative advertising agency a must!

Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred

3+ years experience of Project Management experience in a creative advertising agency

Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and database software (ideally Donovan)

A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees

Exceptional organization and time management skills

Exceptional initiative, attention to detail and follow through skills

After hours work required. 

Major Responsibilities/Primary Functions
Initiates new project by creating a tracking job number in Donovan Data System (DDS); distributes job number and client brief to team

Generates an “electronic job jacket” in agency public drive to contain all job information; organizes electronic job jacket according to project management specifications

Creates and continuously revises project schedule detailing key deadlines for every phase of project from concepting and production to media ship dates

Creates, maintains and distributes status report document, tracking all projects currently in progress; hosts regular status meetings to discuss project status; updates team on any agency and client revisions

Facilitates communication between team members to make sure deadlines will be met; schedules internal and team creative reviews as needed

Routes creative layouts, script and copy decks, presentation materials, mechanicals, rough cuts and other materials as necessary to appropriate team members for review, proofing, revisions and approval

Schedules debriefs with Account group and Creative teams to discuss any feedback or changes after client presentations

Translates print media plans into Studio Dept specification sheet templates in order for media files to be built, produced and shipped in correct size and format

Ensures productions departments have the correct project information necessary to create accurate estimates

Upon job completion, obtains pdfs of produced/shipped print mechanicals, scripts, and specification sheets to archive in electronic job jacket
